Push it one more second?
A push-your-luck roguelike about knowing when to stop. Every Play, a multiplier climbs. Lock in to cash out, or wait, and risk losing it all to the crash.
Every Play, a multiplier starts climbing. The longer you wait, the more you win, until it crashes and your stake is gone. Lock too early and you fall short of the Set target. Lock too late and you lose it all.
Between Plays, spend your winnings on 84 Mods: passive rules that bend every climb. Kick jumps the graph forward at whole numbers. Rewind turns back a crash. Fractal makes your other Mods fire again, and again. Arcade Mods scatter coins, balloons and treasure chests on the graph, and spin slot machines and a Wheel of Fortune mid-climb.
Each Set asks you to hit a score target in a limited number of Plays, and the crash odds tighten as you go. 21 Set Conditions twist the rules, and 14 Random Events shake up every Set after the first: you pick the last Play’s, and Flash Events strike without warning. Hit the target and you can bank the Set, or keep pushing for Silver and Gold for extra rewards. Sets 4 and 8 are Finales (7 in all), like The Blackout, where you climb blind.
With the right build, multipliers stop being sensible. Hand-made milestone stings fire from 2x all the way to 1,000,000x, each one bigger than the last, and the music builds with you.
No. There is no real money anywhere in the game: no purchasable currency, no loot boxes and no microtransactions. All money in the game is fictional and can’t be bought or cashed out. The risk is all in your own nerve.
Crashendo is coming to Steam for Windows. macOS and Linux builds are planned.
Release date: TBA. Price: TBA. Wishlist it on Steam to be told the moment it launches.
A run is 8 Sets of 4 to 5 Plays each. A bad crash can end it early, and holding R starts a new one straight away, so runs are quick to jump back into. Win with a Kit and you unlock Endless for it: the Sets keep coming until you crash out.
Every run earns Records, win or lose. Spend them in the Library to unlock new Mods, Tricks, Kits and more, or Backstage on 10 permanent upgrades that make every future run a little stronger. 61 Challenges unlock the rest: those rewards can only be earned, not bought.
Crashendo currently uses keyboard and mouse. Controller support is on the list.
The How to Play guide covers everything, and the wiki lists every Mod, Trick, Kit, Challenge and more.
